The mission of the Milwaukee County Department on Aging is to affirm the dignity and value of older adults of Milwaukee County by supporting their choices for living in, and giving to, our community.

Advocacy and planning for persons aged 60 and older - one of the largest and most rapidly growing segments of Milwaukee County's population.
Support services, offered in conjunction with community partners and a network of service providers. Through our services, eligible older adults gain opportunities to maintain the ability to live in the residential setting of their choice.
A single point of access to information about an array of in-home services, housing options, and community resources that support lifestyle choices of older adults in our community.

The Department on Aging was created in January 1991 to provide a single point of access to services for people aged 60 and older. Our goal is to assist seniors to maintain independence and remain active in their communities.
